Trip Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu (1300m)
Today you will our local leader at Kathmandu airport, pick you up from airport and transferred to hotel. There would not be much activities today. You will have a good rest at the hotel. Depending on your arrival time you may explore the There are many restaurants in Thamel for dinner. If you fell tired you may eat in the hotel, take good rest catch up with the jetlag.
Day 2 KTM Sightseeing
Today we will start our tour around 9 or 9.30 am. Our tour guide and driver will be waiting at the hotel lobby to pick up for tour. Today we will tour the famous Buddhist stupa the Bauddhanath that is called little Tibet as well. After that we will tour the famous Hindu temple the Pashupatinath. After completing this two places we will drive about 15 minute to Shyambunath (Monkey Temple). After Monkey temple we will drive for 10 minute to Thamel for lunch. After lunch we will walk for 10 minute to Kathandu Darwar Square. Our tour will be completed here for today. After the tour you may walk back to Thamel or drive back to hotel by a cab. If you are not interested in this tour you may do your own thing and prepare for your next day departure. (Brekfast only)
Day 3 Drive or Fly to Pokhara (940m)
We will take a nice bus ride to Pokhara. It will take about 7 hours to get by bus. The total road distance is only 200 km (about 165 miles). The drive is very beautiful. We will drive through Nepali countryside along famous white water rafting river Trishuli. We will spend a night here in Pokhara. After you check in hotel, you can go look around the lake and have dinner there. There are many restaurants & shops to wonder around. (Breakfast & Lunch)
Day 4 Drive to Phedi and Trek to Pothana
After breakfast in your hotel, we drive to Phedi and start our trekking from there. We walk on stone steps, terraced fields and passes several villages and forests before reaching Dhampus where we have lunch. We continue our walk to Pothana which is a small village smartly located on a ridge with good views of the mountains. (Overnight in Pothana.)
Day 5 Trek from Pothana to Forest camp
Our trek starts by walking half an hour through the road dotted with pine forest until we reach a clearing of the forest camp. Our trail passes through the forest. We explore the area which is also known locally as Kokar. (Overnight in Forest Camp in simple tea house.)
Day 6 Trek from Forest camp to middle camp
Today we walk through dense forests admiring Nepal’s rich biodiversity and reach the middle camp check-in but we don't have to walk hard we can witness the fantastic view of Mt. Machapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail) up the valley is mesmerizing. (Overnight in Middle Camp)
Day 7 Trek from Middle camp to High camp
Today also we have a short walk as we are going above three thousand meter high but as we care about your health we recommend you to drink more water which gives energy to your health. If we get lucky, we might get to see Daphne pheasant (national bird of Nepal) on our way to high camp. After reaching our final destination of the day we would be able to see the mountain views. Overnight.
Day 8 HIke to Mardi Base cmap and Overnight at High Camp
The plan for today is to wake up early in the morning to see the sunrise view of the mountains after having breakfast. We hike along a narrow way before reaching the Upper Viewpoint. We will see Mardi Himal(5587m), Hiunchuli(6441m), Annapurna I (8091m), Tent Peak (5695m) and many more others. and back to high camp for overnight.
Day 9 Trek from HIgh camp to Siding Village
Today's morning is the most precious morning of our trekking as we would be able to see the breathtaking view of sunrise. Siding village offers a quiet stay for trekkers as it check-in away from the busier trails and overnight at the Tea House.
Day 10 Siding Village to Pokhara
Today we will trek back to the Pokhara. After the lunch, we will visit Pokhara as it is known as the most beautiful place near to the Kathmandu valley. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 11 Drive or Fly back from Pokhara to Kathmandu
The means of transportation for the return journey to Kathmandu from Pokhara can be choosen either by surface transport or fly depending upon your interest, budget, time, and requirements. At evening, join with Nepal Dream Path Trek’s farewell dinner program which helps to share the experience of trek.
Day 12 Final Departure
Today as per your international flight time, See Nepal staff will transfer you to the airport for your final departure with lot of memories spent you on the trek from this wonderful high Himalayan country.
